WINNER Nepal holds training session on Marketing Concepts

Kathmandu, 2 December 2011 – A two-day training meeting on Marketing Concepts was organized by WINNER Nepal from 17-18 November 2011 in coordination with Women Entrepreneurship Development Committee (WEDC) of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI).

Of the 22 participants, three represented the social organisations sector: the Technical and Skill Development Centre for Blind and Disabled (TSDCBD), the single women's organisation Women for Human Rights (WHR) and SABAH Nepal, an organisation promoting home-based women entrepreneurs.

The training was led by Chandra Prasad Kachhipati, Executive Director of Sana Hastakala, and Sunil Chitrakar, Executive Director of Mahaguthi. Both organizations are leading Nepalese handicraft exporters. The training was conducted especially for SMEs and focused mainly on how the participants could market their products.
